During DEF CON 32 in 2024, I participated as a part of a team (Script Kitties!) in the Cloud Village CTF. We placed 10th, which I’ll count as a win, especially at something as crazy as DEF CON, and considering our participation was very casual.
We completed a number of challenges, and here are some quick write-ups for the challenges I feel qualified to talk in any way about (i.e., ones not at all related to cloud, all of which I solved, though one of which I did not submit the flag for — more on that later…)
